Acute Care Geriatry Unit of the Internal Medicine Service at Germans Trias Hospital

Specialist. Responsible for the Acute Care Geriatry Unit (UGA). He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialized Care of the Elderly and Pluripathological Patient and a Master in Clinical Gerontology from the UAB. He works in ambulatory care, particularly of patients with cardiovascular disease and also of admitted patient. The UGA's research lines focus on the elderly frail and pluripathological patient. He is associate lecturer of Pathophysiology and Clinical Semiology and Biological Bases of Disease. He is co-responsible for the undergraduate Geriatry course of the UAB.
